Started on a Ladder, Built a Company
In 2010, Ryan left a foreman position at a large commercial roofing outfit in Kelowna. Not because the work was bad — but because he kept hearing the same thing from homeowners: "Nobody returns my call. Nobody explains what's actually wrong with my roof."
He figured he could do better. Lisa backed the idea, they put together enough for a truck, some ladders, and a load of shingles, and Peak Roofing Co. was born out of a spare bedroom and a stack of hand-delivered flyers.
The first year was all small patch jobs and gutter cleanouts — the work nobody else wanted to drive across town for. But Ryan showed up on time, charged what he quoted, and walked every homeowner through exactly what he found up top. People noticed. They told their neighbours.
Fourteen years later, it's a team of 9, a shop on Gordon Drive stocked with materials and inspection gear, and a reputation that still runs on the same fuel: do what you say you're going to do.

Not Working Out of a Garage
Our shop on Gordon Drive is stocked with asphalt shingles, metal roofing panels, underlayment, flashing, and all the fasteners and sealants we need so most jobs get done without supply-run delays. We keep drone inspection equipment, safety harnesses, fall arrest gear, and moisture detection tools ready to roll every morning.

From One Ladder to a Crew of 9
Every milestone was earned the hard way — one roof at a time.
One Truck, One Ladder
Ryan left his foreman job at a large roofing company, loaded up a pickup truck, and started taking calls. Lisa handled the books and answered the phone from home.
Growing By Referral
Word of mouth took hold. The team grew to 3 and the first dedicated crew vehicle hit the road. The spare bedroom office got replaced by a real desk in a real office.
Going Commercial
Took on the first commercial flat roofing projects. Invested in TPO and EPDM training and equipment, opening up a whole new side of the business.
The Gordon Drive Shop
Moved into the current facility on Gordon Drive. Finally had room for material storage, safety gear, drone equipment, and parking for the growing fleet.
2,000 Roofs and Counting
Hit a milestone nobody was counting but everybody felt. Two thousand roofs inspected, repaired, or replaced — and most new calls still came from past customers.
A Crew of 9
The team grew to 9 certified roofers. The guys who started as labourers in 2013? They're now crew leads running their own jobs across the Okanagan.
